Academic Calendar and Curriculum
The Graduate Program in Physics (PPGFSC) has the autonomy to develop its own academic calendar, in accordance with the guidelines and general parameters established by the Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies (PROPG) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
At PPGFSC, the academic calendar is organized into 15 academic weeks, with each class period lasting 60 minutes.
Each semester’s calendar sets forth the periods designated for academic activities, including registration, the start and end of classes, course drop deadlines, the conduct of other scheduled activities, and the recording of grades.
