Registration will be made up November 6, 2017 until 5 pm on November 27, 2017, The PPGFSC regards the grade of the Exame Unificado de Pós-Graduações em Física – EUF (Unified Physics Exam) to the entrance at the master and PhD programs.

O periódico internacional PLOS ONE (da Public Library of Science), publicou, no dia 30 de março, um artigo de autoria dos estudantes do programa de Pós-Graduação em Física da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) Mauricio Girardi Schappo (atualmente pós-doutorando na Universidade McGill do Canadá), Germano Schamann Bortolotto (doutorando), Rafael Vitor Stenzinger (mestrando), de Jheniffer Janice Gonsalves, graduanda em Licenciatura em Física, e do professor Marcelo Henrique Romano Tragtenberg, orientador dos estudantes.
O artigo, intitulado “Phase diagrams and dynamics of a computationally efficient map-based neuron model (Diagramas de fases e dinâmica de um modelo de neurônio baseado em mapas computacionalmente eficiente)” está disponível no site do periódico. O PLOS ONE é um importante periódico interdisciplinar entre ciências exatas, biológicas e medicina, cujo acesso é livre, pela Internet. O trabalho foi parte da tese de doutorado de Schappo, submetida e aprovada pelo Programa em 2016, orientada pelo professor Tragtenberg.
