Nara Rubiano da Silva
I have received my Bachelor degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in 2009, and my Master of Science degree in Physics (Condensed Matter Physics) from the same institution in 2012. I am a Doktorin der Naturwissenschaften (Dr. rer. nat.) by the University of Göttingen (Germany), where I have worked in the “Nano-Optics and Ultrafast Dynamics” group. Later, I have been a postdoc fellow in the Quantum Optics Laboratory at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. I am currently a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. I have researched in Optics, Condensed Matter Physics and Microscopy, on the following subjects: development of phase-contrast imaging techniques, Ultrafast Transmission Electron Microscopy, electron microscopy of magnetic materials, structured light (quantum and classical), structural characterisation (Raman spectroscopy).
