O discente Marcelo Augusto Malagutti foi um dos vencedores do prêmio Robert L. Snyder Student Award 2021.
De modo a homenagear a vida e o trabalho de Robert L. Snyder, o International Center for Diffraction Data estabeleceu o prêmio Robert L. Snyder Student Awards. Para continuar essa missão do pesquisador e cultivar futuros analistas de raios-X, o prêmio oferece suporte, a fim de permitir que alunos de graduação e pós-graduação participem da Annual Denver X-ray Conference (DXC 2021). Cada aluno apresentará suas pesquisas nas sessões listadas durante o Virtual DXC 2021.
