Two visiting foreign professor positions at the Physics Department of the Federal University of Santa Catarina – Florianópolis – Brazil
The Physics Graduate Program of the Federal University of Santa Catarina has two positions for visiting foreign professors in the fields of both experimental and theoretical physics working in the following research fields: Astrophysics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, Condensed Matter, Statistical Mechanics, Mathematical Physics, Quantum Field Theory, and Nuclear and Hadron Physics.

In order to apply, the candidate should access the on-line form and include a copy of:
- Passport;
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Ph.D. degree;
- A covering letter specifying his/her research interests and experience in consonance with research topics of the program;
- The application must be endorsed by a letter of a permanent professor of the Graduate Program. (Click here)
The positions are for one year and can be extended for up to three more years. The starting date is negotiable, but should be no later than 2017, September.
