André Avelino Pasa
Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1984), Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1983), Master’s Degree in Physics from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1986) and a doctorate in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1993). He has experience in the field of Material Physics, with an emphasis on Nanostructured Materials, acting mainly on the following themes: electrodeposition, thin films, nanostructures, biomimetic membranes, spintronics, sensors and biosensors, and actuating devices (transistors, etc.)
