Felipe Arretche

He graduated in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1995 to 2000), got a Master’s degree in Particle Physics at the Institute of Theoretical Physics (2000 to 2002), and a doctorate at the Institute of Physics Gleb Wataghin/Unicamp (2002 to 2006). After that, he pursued two post-doctoral programs. The first took place throughout 2007 with the Group of Atomic and Molecular Physics of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, and the second one, along the second half of 2008, at the Laboratory of Special Atoms and Molecules in the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He is dedicated to the study of electron-molecule and positron-molecule collisions, with emphasis on low-energy elastic positron scattering.
