Juliana Eccher

Licentiate in Physics (2007) and bachelor’s degree in Physics (2008) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Master’s degree (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) in Physics at Federal University of Santa Catarina, with a doctoral stay at Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany during 2013, via the Science Without Borders Program. She is an associate professor at the Department of Physics at UFSC since 2016. She has experience in the field of Condensed Matter, with emphasis on organic materials semiconductors and electrical properties, acting mainly in the following themes: materials with liquid crystalline properties, molecular alignment of liquid crystals in thin films, electronic devices, optoelectronic and hybrid systems using metallic nanoparticles.
