Marcelo Henrique Romano Tragtenberg
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1980), a Licentiate degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1982), a master’s degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1985), a doctorate degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1993) and a post-doctorate from the University of Oxford (1999-2000). Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He has experience in the area of Physics, with emphasis on statistical physics, working mainly on the following topics: modulated systems, disorder in magnetic systems, hydrodynamics, and neuron models. Has experience in research on Affirmative Action in Higher Education for black, indigenous, and public school students.
