Marta Elisa Rosso Dotto

MartaSummary curriculum: She has an undergraduate degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1995), a master’s degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1998) whose theme was the application of a non-linear analysis of Barkhausen noise in amorphous magnetic tapes with varying mechanical tension, and Phd in Science by the State University of Campinas (2003) whose objective was to study the dynamics of formation of Si surfaces attacked chemically through Moore’s Law with the use of AFM (atomic force microscopy). She was a post-doctorate researcher (2003-2005) and worked (2005-2007) in the program of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering (PEMM/Coppe/UFRJ) in the study of the influence of areas covered with amorphous carbon films in the paraffination process. She was a researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) between 2007 and 2009. She is currently a Professor at UFSC in the Department of Physics. She has experience in the area of Physics, with emphasis on surfaces and thin films, working mainly on the following topics: SPM – microscopy, polymeric and non-polymeric surfaces (possibly nanostructured) and thin films, aiming at application in photovoltaic devices, organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), field-effect transistors (FETs), sensors and biosensors, among others.
