Sidney dos Santos Avancini
Holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1983), a master’s degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1985), and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1990). Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Has experience in the area of Physics, with emphasis in Nuclear Structure and Hadronic Physics, working mainly on the following topics: quantum algebras and quons, relativistic models, Walecka model, nuclear matter, nuclear dynamics, collective modes, and neutron stars.
