Graduate Program in Physics at UFSC, Florianópolis

Considering FAPESC Public Call No. 25/2025 for the selection of POST-DOCTORATE SCHOLARSHIPS, the Postgraduate Program in Physics of the Federal University of Santa Catarina – PPGFSC-UFSC hereby publishes Notice 03/2025/PPGFSC for the internal selection of application projects for Post-Doctorate/FAPESC scholarships, starting in 2025.

Applications will be accepted from 5pm on May 28, 2025 until 5pm on June 06, 2025.

Na terça-feira (13/05), a Dra. Carline Biesdorf , egressa do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Física (PPGFSC) da UFSC, recebeu o Prêmio SBF de Teses de Doutorado na área de Física Nuclear e Aplicações. O trabalho, intitulado “Quark matter models: consequences on astrophysical properties and the QCD phase diagram” foi orientado pelo Profª. Drª. Debora Peres Menezes e coorientado pelo Dr. Luiz Laércio Lopes.

Os “Prêmios SBF de Tese de Doutorado” foram criados com o objetivo de estimular e valorizar os trabalhos de excelência e padrão internacional nas diferentes áreas da Física, sendo que a tese da Carline Biesdorf, junto com as os demais trabalhos, também concorrerá ao Prêmio José Leite Lopes de Melhor Tese de Doutoramento de 2025.

The Graduate Program in Physics at UFSC makes public the notices of the selection process for the master’s and doctoral courses for admission in the second semester of 2025.

Enrollment will take place from May 12 to June 02, 2025, until 5 pm BRT. The PPGFSC uses the score of the Unified Examination of Graduate Studies in Physics – EUF for admission to the master’s doctorate courses.
