Doctorate in physics by the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics in 1986. Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Published 58 articles in specialized journals and 61 works in conference proceedings. He has filed 2 invention patents. He advised 14 master’s thesis and 2 doctoral dissertations. In his professional activities, he has interacted with several collaborators in the co-authorship of scientific papers. He works in the area of Condensed Matter Physics, with emphasis on Mössbauer spectroscopy, nanostructured materials, nanoparticles, iron nitrides, Electroless, Amorphous Alloys, Bioinorganic Models, iron complexes, Molecular Magnetism and complex of iron.
